YDA

Youth Development Academy is an academic enrichment summer camp for youth ages 10-13 from underserved populations in Richland County. The program lasts for 2 weeks and focuses on civility and self-reliance through educational modules.

The YDA has held camps at the Cecil Tillis Center, Word of God Church and Ministries, Richland Village, Prescott Manor, Richland One Schools, Gable Oaks and Dent Middle School. Through the pre/post-test, youth are assisted with basic concepts and career development.

Hours are from 9am-1pm (Mon-Fri) and lunch is included.
