Job Overview
The Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing the CIP and STEP programs. CIP is designed to connect college students with a paid internship closely related to their career interest for 6-8 weeks between May and August. STEP is designed to provide summer work experience primarily for youth between the ages of 14 and 19 for two weeks beginning in June and ending in August.
This job starts on April 2, 2020, and ends on August 14, 2020. Interested persons may

Responsibilities and Duties
Follow up on correspondence sent to former and potential corporate contacts for job opportunities
for CIP and STEP participants
Collect potential student’s resumes and schedule interviews for CIP
Maintain an accurate database of all CIP and STEP participants and job-site participants
Maintain copies of all correspondence for files
Update CIP and STEP Brochures if needed
Select STEP students to match potential job-site assignments
Develop CIP orientation Program Coordinator will review and enhance their resumes if needed,
interview skills, appropriate attire, and professional etiquette.
Knowledge of organizational practices
Ability to manage others
Upon CIP and STEP participant’s job-site placement, it is the responsibility of the program coordinator to routinely communicate with the participant as well as the job-site supervisor to assess both negative and positive feedback of both parties in a given period
Provide End of the Summer Reports to president & CEO
Qualifications
Must be a college student or recent graduate.
Must be skilled in Microsoft Office
Possess good verbal, nonverbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Must possess the ability to multi-task
Ability to develop an orientation guideline
Ability to manage Survey Monkey
